Penn State Altoona men’s tennis head coach Megan Stern was voted the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Coach of the Year, student-athlete Casey Hess was selected the Newcomer of the Year, and the Lions got six total placements on the AMCC’s All-Conference tennis team.
Casey Hess was recognized for his standout weekend of play for the Lions tennis team, as he was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week in men’s tennis on Monday, March 28.
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its postseason men’s basketball awards on March 1, which included four Penn State Altoona players on the all-conference list and a pair of special individual awards.
